Centennial’s School Nurse Donna McKenny was named School Nurse Administrator of the Year by the School Nurse Organization of Minnesota.A 22-year employee, Donna is the lead health professional for the district. She supervises a highly qualified staff located at each school, successfully manages the budget, coordinates and assists in various health-related screenings, serves on various district committees, and manages to be an integral part of the high school staff. Donna sits on student assistance team meetings, provides in-service training to a variety of staff on various health-related topics, and co-coordinates the district’s Early Childhood Screening program. Donna is an active member of the school nurse organization and currently serves as Membership Chair. The association will submit Donna’s name to their national affiliate for consideration as National School Nurse Administrator of the Year. d McKenny
